Adventure Aquarium

To start our Memorial holiday weekend, we decided to cross the Benjamin Franklin bridge and head to New Jersey.  For this trip, we brought a special guest: Leann's 3-year old niece, Brooke.  So, where should you bring a young child to have fun?  The Adventure Aquarium of course!

Right over the bridge from Philly is the Camden Waterfront, which offers a fantastic view of the city and is a gorgeous area (just don't venture too far from there...other parts of Camden can be quite dangerous).

To start the day, we headed straight for the Penguins.  Who doesn't love penguins?  Apparently Brooke wanted to just jump in there with them.

They also offer various "shows" of the feeding of the Penguins, as well as the seals.

After this, we were able to check out a 4-D show that included 10 minutes of "Happy Feet" and 10 minutes of a documentary about ocean-life.

Following this, we wandered about the aquarium seeing the myriad of fishes and sharks they have on display. Also in the building were a few hippopotamuses!
