Morris Arboretum of the University of Pennsylvania

Right on the border of Philadelphia, in the Chestnut Hill area, is the Morris Arboretum, which is a magnificent use of "green space" in the city.  This arboretum is run by the University of Pennsylvania (even though it is nowhere near it's campus) and is well-maintained.

This 92-acre facility offers beautiful plant life to enjoy for people of all ages.  It is an ideal spot for a romantic trip and picnic.  It also caters to children with fun activities for them to do such as passport stamping and a toy train area.

When you're looking for something to do on a good weather day in the Philadelphia region, this is a perfect, relaxing spot to spend your day.
