Historic Savannah Haunted Trolley Tour

According to most "experts" in the field of the paranormal, Savannah is considered to be the most haunted city in America.  You'll see this mentioned in all of the various ghost shows on TV these days.  Due to this, there is a very large industry of ghost tourism in the city.  You can find various walking tours, hearse tours and trolley tours in Savannah.  For us, since we took a walking tour of the city earlier in the day, we decided to give a haunted trolley tour a try that is run by the Oglethorpe Trolley Tour company.

The tour picked us up from the Pirates House restaurant, but they are willing to pick you up and drop you off at pretty much any spot in the city, including your hotel.  Our tour was run by a lady named Joan, who was extremely friendly and very knowledgeable of the city's history.  The tour lasted a little under2 hours and took us through many sights in the city.  Throughout the tour, Joan was telling various ghost stories and keeping all of the guests thoroughly entertained.

Included on this tour, which no other tour does, is a trip into a morgue tunnel underneath Candler Hospital.  This spooky trip let's you visit a place that has been filled with the dead for many years and is rumored to be very haunted.

We'd definitely recommend this tour to all visitors of the city no matter what age you may be.  Hopefully, some ghosts will show up on your journey ;-)
