As all Girl Scouts probably know, their founder, Juliette Gordon Low, was born in Savannah, GA. From here, she started the Girl Scouts movement, which today has over 10 million members. When in town, you'll notice plenty of Girl Scouts memorabilia around, although we didn't notice any Girl Scout cookies!
A tour is offered on a daily basis of the birthplace of Juliette Gordon Low. On the tour, you'll learn about her life history, as well as that of her family. For anyone who has ever had an affiliation with the Girl Scouts, this is definitely a tour to check out while in Savannah. And for those that don't have any history with the Girl Scouts, you can still appreciate the rich history that is described in the tour and learn about the founding of a very positive and delicious-cookie selling organization.
