Sublime Pizza is a great find in San Diego. While the menu is a collection of pizzas, paninis, sandwiches and mac and cheese, their many varieties of the ultimate comfort food is what drew us to Sublime Pizza for lunch.
All of their mac and cheese flavors are named after sublime feelings. The dishes are made with sharp cheddar and Monterey jack cheeses and have a Parmesan breadcrumb topping.
With flavors such as Yearning, mac and cheese with applewood smoked bacon or Serendipity, mac and cheese with rosemary rotisserie chicken and roasted garlic and much more.
Or, if you’re not feeling the combinations of flavors Sublime Pizza has created, you can also build your own mac and cheese by beginning with the basic mac and cheese and adding your choice of cheeses and picking up to four toppings.
The “dig it” size is ideal for one person, however is only available for dine in.
The mac and cheese is delicious, the cheese sauces are creamy and the toppings don’t sit on the bottom of the bowl, nor are they 100 percent on top. The mixture, combination is perfect.
Sublime Pizza also carries local craft and mirco brews from San Diego, Coronado and other local towns.
Sublime Pizza is located at 10550 Craftsman Way, Suite 186 in San Diego.
