Stowe Resort Gondola Ride

One of the top ski resorts in Vermont is the Stowe Mountain Resort located by Mount Mansfield.  When it isn't ski season though, the resort uses the ski lift lines for a gondola ride at $24/person.  Despite the high price, it does allow you a quick and scenic ride to the top of Mount Mansfield for a gorgeous view, especially when there is snow on the mountain.  The best way to decide if this is right for you is to look at some of our pictures below and see if it's worth it for you to see with your own eyes.

Moss Glen Falls - Stowe

This hidden gem can be hard to find.  If you use Google Maps, it will get you in the right direction.  Some more specific directions can be found by clicking here.  As you walk from the very small parking area (which you'll know you've hit since you'll see a sign that says Moss Glen Falls), be cautious as it can get muddy and steep towards the end.

However, you'll be rewarded with a gorgeous view of this waterfall if you make the short hike to it.  Unfortunately, when we went it was just turning into nighttime, so our camera wasn't picking up the waterfalls, but you can see photos at the link above.  If you're in the area, which is right by the Stowe Ski resorts and the Ben & Jerry's Factory, you should definitely check this waterfall out!
